FICAP’S WANNABE ROCKSTARS A HUGE HIT

Ten of the finance industry’s Wannabe Rockstars battled it out this week in FICAP’s annual “Who wants to be a RockStar?” event at Sydney’s iconic Metro Theatre.
The award for FICAP 2012 RockStar of the Year went to Jamie Thomas from ANZ, with a rendition of Vertigo by U2.
The other winners of the night were Chris Brookman from Macquarie who took out the gong for BT Financial Group People’s Choice Award, the Colonial First State Entertainment Award went to Geramae Godilano & Garreth Innes from Aberdeen, Chris Mekhail from Count took out the Perpetual Best Newcomer Award and RNC Global Projects Best Female Artist went to Sophie Koo from Zurich.
This year’s event was raising funds for the YWCA NSW ‘FICAP Voices’ mentoring program and Open Family Australia.
